Gucci first used the Horsebit hardware in 1955, taking it from the equestrian world, and it has stayed one of the house’s most recognisable symbols ever since. The Horsebit 1955 line brings that hardware back on a clean, structured shoulder bag, with the double ring and bar set across the front flap.
This version is made in Arabella calfskin in Rosso Ancora, the deep burgundy red that became Gucci’s new signature color under Sabato De Sarno. Light gold hardware, an adjustable leather strap and a beige fabric interior with a patch pocket complete a bag that feels both archival and current.
